Our company is based on the belief that our customer's needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the very best service, we are told by all of our customers we give a very high standard of service, the very best they have ever had in this industry in every aspect. I am very grateful for any feed back, I have had hundreds of cards over the years I have kept every one and when I get the opportunity I will frame them and they will hang in the shop for everybody to see. I want everybody to feel welcome, not just because it is a business, I want to be the hub of the community where anybody can come for a chatter just like the old days when shops had a chair, this building probably did years ago as it is 16th century, everybody is always welcome either day or night, my policy is and always has been, if I'm in the shop you can come in, be it five in the morning or twelve at night if I'm there you can come in, sometimes we work well into the early hour's, so to see a different face and have a chatter makes the time go much quicker, it's a wonderful atmosphere to work in and you get to meet some very amazing people, the hours are long, cold, dirty and combined with very early starts in the morning, the old saying goes early bird catches the worm, it is so true, if you are late to market the flowers you so desperately needed for that wedding you are doing, well they would be gone, so you cannot be late, disappointment is not an option, so up you get rain, shine or thick snow, I would not ever let anybody down.
The most important thing to me is that YOU please always keep me informed of date's and times it is your resposibilty, I cannot impress upon you how important this is. Flowers come to me in very tight bud, so depending on the occasion ie: funerals, when flowers are this tight you would not be able to see them in colour so they need to be brought into the shop early to allow time for them to open, it would be pointless in having an arrangement with no colour for a funeral, they need to be seen on the day not several days later.
I do apologise to anybody that feels we shut rather early, but we do start at 4am every morning, other wise that early bird would be gone. But we do deliver up to 9pm in the summer and 7pm in the winter, and Sundays with prior arrangement, if your arrangement is for someone elderly then we would like a phone number to contact them if they are not in, so we can deliver later and they know we are coming and are not frightened to open the door. The late delivery has been brought in for the last two years as I have still have a broken leg from a car accident and I could not cope with the delivery side so they have either been early 7 to 7-30am or early evening from 6-30 onwards so my husband could do them, most people have been very understanding. Lots of special customers have helped me through this bad time and I am very grateful to them, thank you so much.
